Agnieszka Jarecka
My name is Agnieszka Jarecka, I come from Bielsko-Biała, currently live in Mikołów, and I’m a member of the Grey Sled Dog Club. I have been competing in sled dog races since 1995. Since then, this sport has become not only my hobby but also my way of life. I dedicate a lot of time to training and spend every free moment with my dogs, taking care of their fitness and healthy development.
Currently, I have five sled dogs of the Greyster/Eurodog breed – a special mix of German Shorthaired Pointer, English Greyhound, and Pointer, developed about 30 years ago in Norway specifically for sprint sled dog racing. These dogs are known for their impressive strength and speed, combined with endurance over several kilometers and strong motivation to work. They weigh around 28–35 kg and stand 67–75 cm at the withers. The average speed of my team in harness is 32–35 km/h. My team includes:
Kodi (10 years old) – with whom I achieved my greatest successes,
Aspen and Zula (7 years old),
Fido (5 years old),
and Elmo (5 months old).
I specialize in bikejoring – riding a mountain bike with a dog, and in skijoring – cross-country skiing with a dog, which are individual sled dog sports disciplines. I am a member of the Polish National Team under the Polish Federation of Sled Dog Sports, and I hold the title of International Master-Class Athlete. I have been competing in sled dog races for 22 years.
Supplementation plays a key role in the performance of canine athletes if we aim to reach the top of the podium. It is essential to focus on joint support, muscle mass building, immunity boosters, and proper hydration well before physical exertion.
For my dogs, I rely on the excellent products from the Polish brand GameDog. During the competitive season, I use a set that includes:
AniFlexi Fit, HMB, Muscle Booster, Spirulina, Omega-3 fatty acids, Krill Oil, and for my growing puppy – GameVit.
For senior dogs or in case of injury, I use the reliable AniFlexi+.
I chose GameDog because of the high quality of active ingredients in their products, which also meet human-grade nutritional standards, their fast effectiveness, and great efficiency – which is especially important when caring for a larger number of dogs. 😉
