I don’t remember a time in my life when I wasn’t accompanied by dogs, I grew up in a house full of animals since I was a child – mongrels, Hungarian vizslas, cocker spaniels, rottweilers. When I could finally decide on my own for my first dog – I chose a pitbull. And since then this breed has been with me for almost 17 years. I currently have 5 pitbulls – 13-year-old Frania, who used to be one of the best sports bitches in Poland, and generations of dogs after her – 10-year-old Marlenka – the first ADBA Champion in Poland, 8-year-old Borys, 5-year-old Albert and the youngest, 2-year-old Hype.
I am extremely proud of the family of dogs that I have bred, in addition to the first ADBA Champion title in Poland, Marlenka and I compete in sports and Weight Pulling. Albert has 3rd place in the Polish EPF Championships, and several places in the WP ADBA competitions and in the Top Athletic Dog triathlon. He is a very versatile dog who approaches every task 100%, with full focus, and at the same time is a great companion in city life – this is definitely a dog that I would clone if I could.
My second competitor is the young Hype, who is just starting her journey in the sport, but is already showing a huge heart and enthusiasm for work, she is very similar to her grandmother – Frana 😉 In her first season in WP she has already brought back several places and we are really just starting serious training. She is also gaining points for the ADBA Championship at an express pace, and I think she will finish it this year.
In addition to training and participating in competitions with my dogs, since I got involved in the activity for this breed I managed to first create the Pit Bull Crew Poland club and organize several sports events under the auspices of this club, and then lead to the establishment of the ADBA club in Poland in 2016 (a branch of the organization that has been associating breeders and lovers of the breed since 1909). Currently we are organizing one of the largest events for dogs of this breed in Europe.
