GameVit Tabs – a comprehensive blend of vitamins and minerals for dogs of all ages
ALL LIFE STAGES • EVERYDAY SUPPORT
GameVit Tabs is an advanced complementary vitamin and mineral feed for dogs of all breeds and ages, designed for daily supplementation of the diet with essential vitamins as well as micro- and macroelements. The formula has been developed to support the areas that most commonly determine a dog’s overall condition: immune function, gut health, energy metabolism, and proper cellular regeneration.
The formula combines:
- a complex of vitamins A, D3, E, C, and B-group vitamins,
- minerals in chelated forms (high bioavailability),
- taurine and choline chloride,
- and a unique functional component: Algimun® (marine MSP® polysaccharides) together with Ascophyllum nodosum (kelp).
Why does multivitamin and mineral supplementation make sense?
Even with a complete and balanced diet, there are situations where the demand for vitamins and minerals increases, and the dog’s body uses key micronutrients more intensively [1,12,14]. This applies, among others, to:
- active, sporting, and working dogs,
- periods of growth, pregnancy, and lactation,
- senior dogs,
- recovery stages and periods of weakness,
- situations of increased physiological demand: stress, travel, environmental changes, or a change of diet.
It is precisely at such times that supplementation can support:
- a consistent supply of key micronutrients,
- maintenance of proper energy metabolism,
- healthy skin and coat condition,
- and proper functioning of the immune, nervous, and muscular systems.
1) What makes GameVit Tabs stand out?
Algimun® – dual support: gut barrier + immune system
GameVit Tabs features Algimun® – a patented complex of marine sulphated polysaccharides (MSP®) derived from carefully selected marine organisms. This ingredient was chosen to simultaneously support gut barrier integrity and the body’s natural immune response.
Algimun® provides two complementary modes of action:
- MSP® BARRIER – a fraction of polysaccharides extracted from red algae Solieria chordalis, aimed at strengthening intestinal epithelial integrity. Its mechanism includes supporting the expression of mucins (e.g., MUC2, MUC4) and tight junction proteins (e.g., ZO-1, CLDN2), promoting proper gut barrier permeability and intestinal environment stability [8,9].
- MSP® IMMUNITY – a fraction of polysaccharides extracted from green algae Ulva sp., targeting support of the physiological immune response. Mechanisms include modulation of pattern recognition receptors (TLR2, TLR4) and influence on inflammatory response mediators, helping to maintain proper immune system reactivity [8,10].
The significance of this approach is particularly important because the gut is a key site of immune system activity, and its barrier is sensitive to everyday factors in a dog’s life — stress, diet changes, travel, or environmental shifts. A weakened gut barrier can lead to reduced digestive comfort and a diminished ability of the body to adapt to physiological challenges.
Studies involving dogs have also highlighted practical benefits of MSP® polysaccharides, such as improvements in stool quality while maintaining good palatability, as well as favorable trends in immune response. A clinical trial showed that dogs in the Algimun® group exhibited a stronger antibody response to rabies vaccination at days 15 and 30 [6,8].
2) Ascophyllum nodosum (kelp) – mineral and antioxidant support
Ascophyllum nodosum is a brown seaweed that serves as a natural source of trace minerals, bioactive compounds, and polyphenols [4,11]. From a nutritional perspective, it supports mineral balance and may enhance the body’s natural antioxidant mechanisms. It is also described as beneficial for digestive health, and literature highlights its role in oral health and lipid metabolism [3].
In GameVit Tabs, kelp complements the action of Algimun®, reinforcing the “gut–metabolic” pillar of daily wellness.
3) Taurine – heart, muscles, immunity, and regeneration
Taurine is an amino acid of significant physiological importance: it supports proper heart muscle function, participates in regulating cellular calcium balance, and aids regenerative and antioxidant processes [1]. Its role can be especially important for active dogs and during periods of stress or recovery.
4) Chelated minerals – high bioavailability
The minerals are provided as amino acid chelates, which enhances their bioavailability and absorption. These trace elements are essential, among other things, for:
- the function of antioxidant enzymes,
- immune system support,
- keratinization and the health of skin and coat,
- proper tissue function and regenerative processes.
Chelation also reduces the risk of unwanted interactions between mineral nutrients.
5) Vitamins A, D3, E, C, and B-group vitamins – multi-system support
- Vitamin A – supports skin, mucous membranes, and immune function.
- Vitamin D3 – regulates calcium–phosphate balance and bone mineralization.
- Vitamin E – a powerful antioxidant that protects cells.
- Vitamin C – supports collagen synthesis and immune health.
- B vitamins (B1, B2, B5, B6, B12), folic acid, biotin, niacin – support energy metabolism, nervous system function, and cellular processes.
Benefits of use
- supports immune function and proper gut barrier integrity,
- improves gastrointestinal stability,
- enhances vitality and metabolic performance,
- supports active and working dogs,
- aids during recovery and periods of stress,
- provides comprehensive supplementation of micro- and macronutrients,
- promotes healthy skin, coat, and muscle condition.
