Veterinary preparation supporting proper functioning of the prostate. Synergistic action of active ingredients reduces symptoms related to benign prostatic hyperplasia and lower urinary tract diseases in males.
The advanced formula of the preparation is based on the highest quality active ingredients, the effects of which have been scientifically confirmed:
Saw palmetto fruit (Serenoa repens) – inhibits prostate gland hyperplasia. Mechanisms of action include antiandrogenic, proapoptotic and anti-inflammatory effects. The mechanism of action is probably based on reducing the activity of the enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT. Saw palmetto is also rich in phytosterols. Their presence affects the reduction of cholesterol levels in the blood, and testosterone is produced from cholesterol (later converted to DHT).
African Pygeum (African pygeum) – has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Many studies have shown high effectiveness in relieving symptoms of urinary tract and prostate inflammation. Reduces the frequency of urination, facilitates urination.
Pumpkin seed extract (Curcubita pepo)- Therapeutic effects of pumpkin seed extract include alleviating symptoms associated with prostate disorders. It may also aid in the treatment of bladder complications and lower urinary tract diseases. Pumpkin seed extracts may block testosterone-induced prostate mass growth and protein synthesis, inhibiting testosterone-induced hyperplasia. Pumpkin seed extract also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
Epilobium parviflorum Extract – Used to relieve BPH, such as difficulty in starting urination or frequent need to urinate. Traditional uses in Europe and North America include treatment of BPH, prostatitis, bladder and kidney disease, and other urinary tract problems.
Lycopene – is a non-provitamin A carotenoid that has antioxidant activity. It has also been shown to have anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory effects. Lycopene alleviates chronic prostatitis. Studies show that lycopene may be beneficial in preventing prostate cancer.
Glutamic acid (glutamine), Alanine and Glycine – amino acids necessary for the proper functioning of the prostate gland. Glutamine reduces the activity of androgen receptors.
Vitamins B, C and E – natural antioxidants. Helpful in relieving inflammation. They also support the mechanisms of the immune system. Vitamins from group B are necessary for the production of testosterone. Vitamin B6 has a regulatory effect. It affects the production of sex hormones in the body.
Cynk – an element of great importance for prostate health. Among the body’s tissues, it is in the prostate gland that its highest concentration is. Studies suggest that long-term zinc deficiencies increase the risk of BPH. Zinc limits the production of DHT from testosterone.
