Veterinary preparation for dogs, supporting the proper functioning of the heart and circulatory system. The active ingredients of the preparation have a positive effect on improving the physiological parameters of the heart. The product is recommended as a dietary supplement for dogs with cardiological ailments and heart muscle failure.
The advanced formula of the preparation is based on the highest quality active ingredients, the effects of which have been scientifically confirmed:
L-carnitine – has a positive effect on the heart and the circulatory system. It has a cardioprotective effect, improves the systolic and diastolic function of the heart. Reduces the risk of circulatory system diseases. An amino acid used in the treatment of ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias and cardiomyopathy. It has an antioxidant effect [1,2].
Taurine – improves myocardial contractility by regulating intracellular calcium ion concentration [3]. Taurine supplementation prevents hardening and narrowing of arteries in animals. Taurine deficiency may contribute to the development of cardiomyopathy [4,5,6,7].
Arginine – Causes blood vessels to dilate and relax, thus improving blood transport. Lowers blood lipid levels. Regulates blood pressure [8].
Coenzyme Q10 – improves exercise capacity in patients with heart failure [9,10]. Reduces the occurrence of atrial fibrillation (arrhythmia) and the risk of cardiac incidents [11,12]. It has strong antioxidant properties [13].
Folic acid (vit. B9) – has a beneficial effect on the heart by maintaining a proper level of homocysteine. Reduces the risk of stroke.
Alpha lipoic acid – prevents the development of heart diseases, reduces hypertension. It is an antioxidant, has a positive effect on the endothelium of blood vessels, and also protects the body from damage resulting from ischemia [14].
Potassium – protects against the development of cardiovascular diseases. Prevents the occurrence of arrhythmia. Regulates hypertension.
Magnesium – prevents uneven and accelerated heart function. It has an antispasmodic effect on blood vessels, thus preventing ischemia and the development of hypertension and ischemic heart disease.
Feeding: 1 tablet per day for every 15 kg of dog’s body weight. Dogs weighing less than 15 kg – 1 tablet per day. Dogs weighing more than 45 kg – 3 tablets per day.
In the case of diagnosed cardiac diseases, the target dose and duration of supplementation should be consulted with a veterinarian.
Available packages: 60 tablets.
