Veterinary preparation for dogs, supporting the proper functioning of the digestive system and the reconstruction of intestinal microflora in animals. Dedicated as dietary support for dogs with digestive system microflora disorders, including after antibiotic therapy, in digestive disorders, in the case of a tendency to diarrhea or constipation, after deworming procedures and during periods of exposure to stress (travel, exhibitions, sports competitions). Three clinically tested strains of probiotic bacteria support the growth of beneficial intestinal microflora, while limiting potentially pathogenic bacteria.
The advanced formula of the preparation is based on three probiotic strains whose effects have been confirmed by scientific research:
Lactobacillus acidophilus – by producing lactic acid and lowering pH in the small intestine, it inhibits the growth of harmful pathogens and blocks the adhesion of Clostridium perfringens bacteria to the intestinal mucosa. It actively participates in the synthesis of B vitamins, especially niacin, folic acid and vitamin B6 [1,2,3,4]. The specificity of L. acidophilus is its ability to hydrolyze urea, which allows, on the one hand, to reduce its endogenous production, and also supports the reduction of its concentration in the blood during chronic renal failure [5,6].
Oralin® – contains live lactic acid bacteria Enterococcus faecium, which have probiotic effects and are capable of rapidly multiplying in the small intestine. They produce lactic acid, lower the pH in the small intestine, inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria, create the so-called intestinal barrier – they prevent the adhesion of pathogens to the intestinal mucosa. They produce antibacterial compounds and compete with pathogens for nutrients [7,8,9,10].
Calsporin® – contains the spore-forming bacteria Bacillus velezensis (formerly Bacillus subtilis). They have a protective coating, thanks to which they are able to safely reach the large intestine. The presence of a protective coating makes them resistant to destruction by antibiotics, so they can be administered during antibiotic therapy. B. velezensis bacteria have a multifaceted effect on the proper functioning of the intestines. Bacillus strains support the immune system of animals by stimulating the production of immunoglobulin IgA and improving the structure of the intestinal mucosa (preventing intestinal leakage). Bacillus strains effectively inhibit diarrhea. Some scientific studies show that Bacillus strains may also have anti-cancer effects [11,12,13,14].
Inulin – a natural prebiotic, stimulates the growth of beneficial intestinal microflora

What does it mean that this product is a synbiotic?
This means that this product contains both probiotic and prebiotic bacteria.
What is the difference between a probiotic and a prebiotic?
A prebiotic is food for probiotic bacteria.
Is this product used continuously?
In the case of generally healthy dogs, probiotics are usually introduced for a short period of time (10-20 days) in the event of severe stress, diarrhea, etc. Dogs suffering from digestive or immune system problems should be given probiotics long-term (over 30 days) or continuously, depending on the recommendations of the veterinarian treating the dog.
